I couldn't think of a good subject for this thread.

However after getting the last 2 Currents I have to say I am disappointed.I threw my current edition out yesterday. Many many of us are past cruisers(numerous times over) and we really don't get anything. RCI gives their past cruisers coupons($125 off a 7 day cruise) in their magazines. They also have the more you cruise with them you earn small benefits. I am curious as to why Carnival doesn't have any real past guest benefits( real coupons) in their magazine.I don't really think having 3 cruises in the fall for past guests as a great benefit. What do you all think???

I love Carnival, but I do agree. It would be nice to get some discounts or freebies. There really isn't any discount for being a past guest. It would be nice for Carnival to reward its past guest with more dollar incentives.

I enjoy getting my Currents just to get back into a cruise mode; love the photos! Hardly any coupons, and none that ever effect me, but I still look forward to getting Currents! http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

JMHO, but I would rather be able to book a cruise at a reasonable price every time I try vs. paying extra for the cruise and getting a few 'bennies' here and there on a future cruise!
Carnival has always been the better price/value for the buck! I'm happy to keep it this way! http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Again, I still haven't received a 'Currents' yet, so I'm guessing they are just sending them to the wrong people.
I really WANT one! http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

That is a misconception that RCI is more expenisve then Carnival. They are basically the same product and many times the same price depending on dates, ship etc.. Though RCI is really getting into nickle and diming. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Carnival has offered us great values on our 3 cruises while Celebrity has given us decent values and perks; coupons for wine tasting, casino, spa treatments, champagne upon embarkation, etc. Which do I prefer? The one that I decide to go on next time!
