Rotterdam

Does anyone have any reviews of the Rotterdam. Trying to decide between this and the Century next summer to the Baltics.

My opinion is that the Rotterdam is the best HAL has to offer. I do love some other HAL ships, too, but you will not find another better than the Rotterdam.

The Rotterdam is a wonderful ship. I did a review of the ship in my South America/Antarctica review - January 11, 2006 in the reviews section of this website. I like the ship so much, I've booked a Baltic Sea cruise on her for June 2007.

I've done 3 cruises totalling 77 days on the Rotterdam. I'd say that's an endorsement of the ship.
She's a beautiful ship---pretty, lovely decor, rides well.

If you choose the Rotterdam you will not be disappointed.

We were just on the Rotterdam on the August 8 twelve day Baltic. The ship, the crew, the service and the food were all superb. We felt that the food was the best we have had on a cruise ship. We booked two more sailings while on board (we're trying the Veendam because of the itinerary). IMO you won't go wrong with the Rotterdam.

Been on Rotterdam five times, the most recent time being an outstanding Baltic cruise (Rotterdam-Copenhagen) almost a year ago. Rotterdam is our favorite ship and the Baltic itinerary is one of HAL's best! Rotterdam is very easy to get around, her crew is outstanding and the food very good. We really have no complaints. Never been on Celebrity so can't make any comparisons but IMO, you can't go wrong with Rotterdam:)
