View Full Version : No 6As left

I am sailing on the Fascination in June. I have been monitoring the Carnival website for price drops and noticed today that there are no more 6A category cabins left. (I currently am booked in a Guaranteed 6A.) If I were to book today it looks like I would have to pick a 6B cabin - which is now listed at the price I paid for my 6A. Two questions:
1.) Does this mean that the 6A rooms are sold out and I have a better chance of getting an upgrade?
2.) Should I call my TA about the fact that a 6B is now listed at the price I paid for my 6A?

1.) Yes, it means they are sold out and you have a better chance of getting an upgrade. But, no guarantee.
2.) Yes, you could call and see about getting upgraded to a 6B guarante.

Has you full payment day passed? If it is close a lot out people may have canceled and that causes a drop in price.

2sigs,

If you've made final payment, you are less likely to get the price drop. Before final payment you can always cancel and rebook. However, it would not be unrealistic to expect the 6B guarantee. But ask about the price drop too. Can't hurt.
