2 Questions about fun pass completion- can you help?

1.) I am having a heck of a time with my online TA-- so I am not sure if this is just a fluke or if finally they did what they were supposed to do. I asked them to upgrade my room to a balcony (paying for it of course). I went to add some info to my fun pass and it now shows a balcony room on the right side of the page. Is this where they show which room/ type you have? I only had a guaranteed inside room before and it showed that way a few days ago. I have not seen a new charge hit my credit card, nor have I heard from my TA. Is it safe to assume this is real? Or... is this just something to entice me from Carnival ;-)

2.) I have clicked several times on the "yes, I am a past guest" button and it never prompts me for a past guest number. Any ideas?

Carnival will not give me info regarding my room because I booked it from a TA, and they couldn't tell me anything about the past guest number portion. I would really appreciate your advice!

When I have made a pyt on my cruise thru Carnival with my cc, the adjustment shows immediately on the website, although it is not showing on my cc yet. I would think it is safe to say that they already charged your card, it just has not posted.

As far as registering with your past guest #, good luck. It took me several weeks. It was a mess, but now it works and even shows my past cruises. Also, it was all in DH's name, not mine. That may have had something to do with it before.

1.) I booked my cruises with a TA. I called Carnival for my past guest number and they gave it to me, no problem. If the pass shows balcony than the TA did upgrade you with Carnival as, they are they only ones that could change the info on your pass.
2.) Are you clicking on you are a past guest at the home page? They don't promt for a number there. Or are you clicking on the fun pass itself? That is where they ask for your number.

Melody -- I am clicking on the yes button in my fun pass, and it just continues to the next section. At the end I review it and it shows "no" to past guest although I clicked yes. Very strange!

I can't help with the cabin info, but I also have run into problems with the system recognizing that I am a past guest. I spoke with Carnival and was told that they're having major problems with the FunPass system. The Cus. Svc. rep's suggestion was just to fill out the rest of the FunPass, print it out (minus your Past Guest #), bring your past guest info with you to the dock, and present it to the attendant who checks you in. That way you get your invite to the Past Guest Party, etc. Hope this helps a little!

i WAS TLD FROM CARNIVAL THAT THEY ARE HAVING PROBLEMS. SO INPUT IT AS IF YOUR NOT A PAST GUEST,AND WHEN YOU GO TO GET ON SHIP GIVE THEM YOUR PAST GUEST NUMBER. I THOUGHT THIS SOUNDED STUPID BUT I AM FINDING A LOT OF MISTAKES SO FAR WITH THIS CRUISE COMPANY. LARRY

i havent gotten into the fun pass yet, but my past guest # is on my address on the current magazine. if you have one of them you can see what it is. i hope this helps. and i hope they have the problems solved soon for all of us.

Not necessary to enter your past guest number. They will ask you if you're a past guest at check-in and will pull it up on the computer.

I wouldn't worry about the past guest my hubbys came up mine didn't you jjust call Carnival give them your info and they should give you your past guest number. Jut keep it wiht you for when you go to sign in for the cruise as stated by several others on here..not needed right away only purpose is really for the party and to keep up with your sailings. Have a wonderful time on your cruise!
