Pride Balcony Cabin # 6232

Has anyone been in balcony cabin 6232 Empress deck on the Pride.. I am booked for Sept.and am told this has a 100 Sq, Ft balcony,,Has anyone been in ths cabin...

cjar855 - Hey there! I'm from Hoffman Estates too! Small world. I don't have first hand knowledge of that cabin but I looked it up in the Carnival brochure and it sure looks like a huge balcony. We had a cat. 11 suite (#6258) just down the hall and our balcony was much smaller. Try doing a search by just putting in the cabin #. I did this before our cruise and found first hand info on our cabin. You will love the Pride. We did. My 2 teenagers said it was the best vacation ever. When are you going? We went in March of '03 when she was still sailed from Port Canaveral and did the Eastern Caribbean so I can't tell you anything about the ports. Have a great cruise.

Someone last year from these boards faxed me a picture of this room from the Legend and the balcony is large. We ended up booking room 8232 on the legend because of the balcony size. Our cruise leaves on May 31. Will post a review when we return.

I almost booked this cabin and I had put out a request for pictures but never got a reply with one. I would still enjoy seeing a picture. In the end, we decided on an Aft cabin with a 220 sq ft balcony.

Howdy - What a small world, I am from Algonquin. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif We were in 6232, 4/20. Yes the balcony is large it is about 3x larger than the rest. Ours had two deck chairs, two chaise loungers , a rocking deck chair and a table and we still had room to move around easily.

found these a few months ago.... these are from the Costa Mediterranea which is also a Spirit Class ship. I looked up the brochure for Costa and found that this cabin in the picture (7252) is Carnival's cabin 6232.... enjoy!

Thanks for the info. I was on the same ship this past January (cabin 6188),but am going again this Sept and was excited about the bigger balcony. Is the room the same size?
