Does the Elation keep the Ship time the same a Galveston time for the entire cruise? Or does Ship time change to local time in any ports?

No when you arrive in Belize you gain an hour. They are on Mountain Standard Time. Then when you leave you lose an hour. Just got off the ship on Sunday May 2.

So, did you arrive in Belize at 8 am mountian standard or 8 am Central Standard?

This doesn't help much with whether the ship changes times, but Belize is 6 hours behind GMT, and Galveston is 5 hours behind GMT.

The country of Belize doesn't switch to daylight savings time which causes some confusion as to if the ship will change time or not. If in the USA we have switched to daylight savings time, then and only then will you the night before you arrive in Belize and probably before you go to bed...you change your clocks BACK one hour. The night after you leave Belize and before you go to bed...you change your clocks AHEAD one hour. So to make it simple...when you awake in the morning or when pulling into port in Belize the ship and the country of Belize are on the SAME time. Hope that helps.
