I just read a disturbing review on this site (not on the boards, though) that said before the authorities let 17-18 year old boys back on the ship in Jamaica, they took them to a small tent without the parents and searched them for drugs - anyone heard of such a thing? We are going next July to Ocho Rios on Freedom and this really freaked me out!:eek:

Was there last week and it didn't happen to my sons at Ocho Rios. I did see them searching the belongings of 20-something young men on a table in the open. Security at the gate was a no nonsense bunch, and they should be. There is a serious drug problem that could easily drop them as a port. Last year, when boarding the ship, my son noticed a substantial bag of marijuana just inside the ship from the gangway. Obviously, someone had second thoughts about boarding with their "souvenier".
