Where can you find how many ships will be in port on a certain day? I will be in Grand Cayman on Sensation later this month and am curious how busy Stingray City may be. I posted on the Ports of Call board with no replies...

Thanks for the help!

In March 2003, we were in Cayman on a Tuesday and it was so crowded we could hardly shop or do much of anything! I think there was 5 or 6 big ships in port including a RCCL and the Triumph. I know Sally from Cozumel can help in terms of number of ships in port. I think the newspaper or something publishes a listing at the first of every month. Try the port of call Cozumel link on this board.

for Cozumel....

you can go to www.cozumelinsider.com (http://www.cozumelinsider.com)

They only publish cruiseships for the current week.. but at least it can give you an idea...

(see all the fun things I have learned here!)

We're not going to be there until 11/4 and there's going to be four other ships there the day we arrive as well! I was also looking at Stingray City, it's going to be packed!!

I may look for other options...

I was in Grand Cayman last monday, May 3rd on the Imagination and the only other ship was the Sensation. Georgetown & Stingray City was not crowded at all. I don't know about other days though. We booked our stingray city/ Coral Garden snorkeling excursion from home before we left. It was called Nativeway tours It was $30 each for my mom & I. There were 2 other people from our ship plus 2 people who were staying at the Marriott on the island. It was like having your own personal tour guide. I got to drive the boat for a while and they let my mom fish while I snorkeled. They were very helpful at Stingray City also. It was so much fun. We would definitly use them again in Grand Cayman.
