Has anyone been in this cabin or near it. Can you tell me anything about it? Its my first cruise and I was upgraded to an extended balcony. What is the difference between a regular balc & extended..how much bigger is it?

Thank you all for your great posts.

an extended balcony has 50% more room...usually means it is wider but maybe longer, i'm not sure...is this a cabin at the back of the ship or on the side???

the extended balconies on the back of the ship are 50% deeper (wider) than the regular balconies...instead of 40 sq feet you will have 60 sq feet!!

congrats!! http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

We just got off the Spirit.....same ship. We were in 7277....extended balcony. The room is the same size the balcony is just deeper. It was nice to have the extra space on the balcony.
It is on the side of the ship toward the back, but is not an aft balcony cabin.

Do they have chaise lounge chairs on the balcony?

Two chairs...one is a standard plastic chair and the other is a lower chair that the back can be adjusted up and down. No regular chaise lounge, but my husband found the adjustable chair quite comfortable and spend hours out on the balcony reading! We spent five days at sea from Ensenada to Hawaii, so there was lots of balcony time
