Current Captain of the Noordam ??

A dear friend asked me who the Captain on our upcoming Transatlantic cruise will be?? I was not sure, so I thought I'd turn to those in the know.

14 days to go till we are in Rome, and I am counting the minutes.;)

Capt. John Scott was Master of the Ship when we were on a few weeks ago. So far as I know, he's still onboard.

Captain Scott was scheduled to leave Noordam September 8 and Captain Johannes Mateboer was scheduled be Master.....if it went according to the schedule.

We had the pleasure of meeting Capt. Mateboer while he was in command of the Prinsendam last year. Enjoyed his book and look forward to cruising with him again. Last year Capt. Mateboer joked that he was going from the smallest HAL ship to the largest!
