I posted a few comments earlier today. It's around here somewhere. It was a great cruise! Weather was wonderful! Cozumel..FUN FUN FUN! Lots of sun, sand and good times! The Imagination was in port the same time we were. It was so beautiful to see the two ships lit up at night sitting side by side.

Hi everyone!! We had a great time!!! Started out in Tampa the night before, me the Tampa gang and also StormnNorman. It was great evening. Bahama Breeze is really nice!!! If anyone is staying in Tampa the night before their cruise, they should check it out. Thanks for Becky for arranging it.

The cruise was a blast, a perfect short cruise!!! Cozumel was wonderful, we jeeped around for the day and stopped at all kinds of little bars on the beach. Went to CnC's that night, it was the craziest I've ever seen it. Stopped at Fat Tuesdays on the way back to the ship, so crowded that you couldn't move!!
Had a Survivor finale party in the polo lounge, that was nice. The piano bar was fun, the casino was generous to some of us, the band in the lounge was great. Only went to one show, it was OK, I've seen better. Food was normal Carnival food. We all had to go and beg for a Sensation pin at the pursers desk, as there was not past guest party or anything. They gave us a hard time until we pretty much demanded our pin. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif The one complaint I have is that the public bathrooms on this ship were disgusting. Smelly, wet everywhere, paper everywhere, and there were three instances where I went to the bathrooms to find no toilet paper. Other than that, no complaints at all!!

This was definately a younger crowd, tons of 20 somethings, I think that it was college graduation week. All of the passengers seemed happy and ready to party!! Overall, a great vacation. I'd sail with these guys again in a heartbeat, everyone of them is a blast, and fun to hang out with.

Someone needs to ask JAN about the ballet!!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!

LOL Sue!!! I had forgotten about the ballet until you mentioned it!! There's something about a cruise that tends to make you revert to acting like you're young...younger. LOL http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Several of us went to Paradise Beach. Didn't do any snorkling but it was very nice. I agree with Sue about the public bathrooms, yuk. The food was typical Carnival. I've never liked their Lido deck buffet anyway. They create some strange food stuff! The grill is good, they serve yummy hotdogs! Of course can't forget the ice cream! I did have some goat cheese pizza, didn't care for it. The dining room food was much better. We had a great wait staff. Don't miss the Lido deck party after Cozumel!! They serve a Mexican buffet which I thought was good. Of course after drinking, pretty much anything taste good! They also have a big party up on deck.

The crew on the ship was very friendly. I met my cabin steward in the beginning. Didn't see him after that but he did take care of my cabin.

Embarkation was a breeze!! The best yet of any cruise. I arrived at the port about 11:00 a.m. and there were NO lines. Walked right up to check in. In fact when I went through security, I was the only one there! I started laughing and asked the security guy if I was the only one going on this cruise. After checking in, meet up with the gang and we finally boarded I think around 12:30 or so. OH don't take pictures in the waiting area. I love the fantasy class ships because of their size..not too big and easy to find your way around. I rarely encountered any lines.

Everytime I cruise with these guys I end up singing "You make me feel so young"!!

I had never been to Carlos and Charlies before--it was a BIG BLAST!! Even little old ladies sometimes "let their hair down"!! Yes, I did dance on the chair--of course it took me awhile to get down!! I didn't join the crowd at Fat Tuesdays--took a cab back to the ship before the "youngsters" did.

Embarcation was a snap!! There was almost no line at all!! Of course, we did have to wait awhile to get on the ship, but not to bad!

I wasn't one of those few who won in the casino, but they seemed to like me there and I did receive a few free drinks.

The public bathroom situation was really bad!! Guess we will have to write "Uncle Bob" and complain!! The crew on the ship was very nice and friendly.

I just loved the jeep ride around the island. I had only been to the downtown area when I was there before.

All in all, this was a very nice short cruise and I certainly would do it again.

Other things that went on?????? My lips are sealed!!!!!

They told us for security reasons. It would have helped to have some signs posted because there weren't any around that I saw.

I remembered a couple of other silly things, the first being that they now have STRAWS on the ship! yeah! Also, the portions in the dining roomed seemed smaller to me. The food was good, but there was less of it. My steak came with three small potato wedges and about 1/8 cup of green beans. I didn't notice bar service in the dining room AT ALL, I honestly can't remember seeing anyone offered drinks except for bottles of wine. OK, I'll post more when I think of it!!! LOL!

We are so spoiled now that I just dont know what to do, David tried to make me a towle animal last night and it was pitiful. Hi everyone. Glad to see you had so much fun. This is a stupid question, but are the owners suites on other CCL ships all overlooking the Lido deck? I would love to see more pics of these suites from other CCL ships. The photos were wonderful. If I can't live like the rich, I can at least enjoy seeing pics of these beautiful suites. How was it being there Natters? Were you spoiled royally? How wonderful!Thanks Zone for showing them. I loved the Zones' Harem pic, too cute!

Incharge, thanks for asking, and yes, I thought I was a Diva for sure. It was amazing, the suite, the service, the escort on and off the ship, I was just about to start to sign authographs when I arrived home and went to the mail box and saw the electric, water, credit card and auto loan bills and I soon came down to reality. I am sure it was a once in a life time experience and I feel very fortunate.
