Ok I'll start this off! There are some of us who want to share some pics of the great time we had! I'll admit it up front, I didn't get around to taking any photos of the ship except for one. The night in Cozumel, I took a shot of the Imagination and Sensation side by side. It was ohh so beautiful! I do have some pics from the Owner's Suite that Natters was upgraded too. Liv the shot girls are always around and ready to give you a shot for $3 bucks and tip basically $4 but the are good and get into the spanking part..LOL all the shot is a girlie sex on the beach shot so I did about 15 or so through out the night, plus the free tequila conga line and the regular charlies specials by the yard.

How would you all sum up this cruise ship to the newer ones you have been on??

Was the ship maintained and kept up well..did you notice wear and tear?? (excessive amounts)

Was it a mix of age groups onboard?? Or was there a majority of age group onboard?

How was the Casino?? Did it seem crowded?? Was there plenty of table games and slots??

How was the shows onboard and who was the CD and was he/she anygood??

Now few answers!!!

Q.)How would you all sum up this cruise ship to the newer ones you have been on??

A.)my first cruise was on the Fantasy so I like the Fantasy class, but they do seem a bit outdated(but still as fun) as lets say the Spirit class which is my Fav so far.

Q.)Was the ship maintained and kept up well..did you notice wear and tear?? (excessive amounts)

A.)I felt the ship has faired well of course you will always have carpet stains and scratches in the metal from the unruley type.
I did however come across a variety of odors in a few places, but cant determine if it was the ship or people around at the time (vomit,urine)

Q.)Was it a mix of age groups onboard?? Or was there a majority of age group onboard?

A.) they age group was mixed but I would have to say a majority were in their 20's must have been colloge grad thing.

Q.)How was the Casino?? Did it seem crowded?? Was there plenty of table games and slots??

A.) I went thru the casino a few times and there always seem to be a nice croud and open seats at both the tables and slots

Q.)How was the shows onboard and who was the CD and was he/she anygood??

A.) the cd was Jorge Solano and I never saw him once, not his fault we just missed each other.
I only saw one show it was "HEY MAMBO" the dancers were good but the show needed some help seemed thrown together but it was still entertaining.
also went and saw the comedian Mike Panzeca and wasnt impressed with his performance, he did have a few hecklers but he could never seem to cover from them.

I have heard from previous posters that the Owners Suite stays somewhat warm (hard to cool), especially with the curtains open..??

Is the balcony PRIVATE? - or is there some place where others may peer upon it??? (not that I want to peer - but hoping others can't if I opt for that cabin...!)

Tom, it's funny that you asked that becasue it was a bit warm but how could you complain? My DH did draw the sheers during the day to keep the sun and heat out. Also, did you notice that chandelier in the dinning area? It was beautiful but if i heard that damn thing rattle one more time I swear I would have lost my mind,,,, but again, how could you complain? Oh, and the runners on the sports deck, that was LOUD, but, again, how can you complain? It was a wonderful experience, one I am sure we will never be able to duplicate again and we feel most fortunate and also happy to share it with our cruise critic friends, in not for Zone, Jan, Marilynn, Cheyril, Sue, ect., no one would have believed us.

Did you have a suite guarantee, is that how you were upgraded?

Carnival quoted my $1700 per PERSON for that cabin (4-day) for my July cruise.. and if I shelled out that much, then I likely would have a reason to complain... (now if I were upgraded to it - I would feel just like you!)

Tom, wow, 1700 a person? It was grand but I cant see spending that much money for it. We had booked a year ago with our TA, he picked out a cabin for us so that we were sure there was no obstructed view, it was a cat. 11 suite on the Veranda (V18) so he went ahead and secured that particular cabin with a guarantee. He called me a day before and told me the news, we arent sure how it happened, I do that all the suite were booked over a month ago and we were thinking that since there was this huge wedding party, maybe they wanted to all be in the same vernanda area and since we had that V-18 right in the middle and it was already guaranteed they had to do something with us. Would that makes sense? But, again, $1,700 is a lot of money, we paid a total of 1650.00 for us both with the V-18 suite. It was quite a surprise.
