We do not plan on renting a Cabana, so what do we do with our "stuff" (camera, room key, tops, etc.) while we are doing the swim? Do they have lockers available or a place to leave things??
Also, what do folks normally wear when going ashore there? Just swim suits and a top or do you wear shorts etc. and change there?
Inquiring minds would really like to know!! Thanks all!
Cheers,

Cheers,What to do with your stuff; I don't know, as for what to wear? If it is like the private island owned by NCL it is up to you; either a nice cover up or shorts, whatever. NMNita

dd and I did this activity while on half moon cay last december.
They do have wet suits for you to use while in the water and places to put your stuff...it is a very safe island experience.
Do rent a shade screen early to get one, the sun is truly intense.
Most people wear there suits, take a small bag to change into or simply wear them with shorts and a t or a cover up back to the boat.
They have some shops to look in and you can mail post cards or notes back to friends from the post office on the island.
It is very user friendly layout.
But the best is the water and sand it is heavenly.
The left end of the beach with the squirting water for the children is my favorite spot (children crying and playing do not bother me, as I have raised 3 children and work as a school nurse).
Enjoy.

My 11 year old's favorite island! Wear your suits under the wraps, t-shirt and shorts etc. Take a backpack (water, suncscreen, towels, camera, etc.) with lock if desired, but there are lockers as noted in ref's above. The water will cloud as the crowds get in - get in early if taking an disposable underwater camera. StingRay City in the Cayman's much more interactive. Alas, this poor cruiser is stuck on the Statendam on Sep 29th since I've run through most other ships of the line (favorite was the previous Rotterdam).
