Snorkling on Nassau

This will be my 1st cruise. I am going on the 3 day On the Fantasy. Are the Carnival Shore Excursions that include snorkling on Nassau worth it? What are the price ranges for them?
I have seen Pearl Island, Blue Lagoon and Athol Island listed. Is one better than the others?
I have snorkled in Hawaii, Great Barrier Reef, and St John so know what I am doing and want to see LOTS of bright fish, etc.
Any suggestions?

I have only done the Athol Island snorkel and it was my first time ever snorkeling. I have since done other snorkeling and I would say that the Athol Island snorkel is OK at best. Seems like it was in the $25 pp range, give or take a couple of bucks.

There is another snorkeling outfit in Nassau that is not offered by the cruise line that gets rave reviews on this board. The name of the outfit is Stuart Cove and I believe they have a website.
