On the Inspiration from Tampa- about 2 hr drive from our house.
We upgraded to a cat 12--our first! Have been in cat 11 before, but I know there is a big difference between the 11 and 12 size-wise. Can't wait to see that suite.
Off to get a manicure and pedicure and then home to finish the ironing.
Any last minute tips for Costa Maya? We have never been there.

How early are you planning on checking in? I am on the Inspiration on the 16th as well.

I want to get checked in early if possible and then grab lunch on board. Is it possible?

I called Carnival and the rep I spoke with seemed a little slow, and the only thing she could utter was "boarding starts at 1:30" I then asked what time I could check my luggage with a porter and begin getting my boarding documents processed and she reiterated "boarding starts at 1:30." I understand that boarding is scheduled to start at 1:30, but it seems from all the posts people are able to check in earlier.

Seattle, we will be at the pier between 11 and 1130- they usually start checkin around then- boarding should begin about 1230.

I love this class of Carnival ship... Very well laid out! You will love the wrap around couch and the huge walk in closet in the Cat 12 suite... We've had two on the Imagination... Loved it! Also loved the jacuzzi jets in the bathtub!

Doxiesssss..Have a wondefful cruise..I am soooo jealous of the Cat 12!!!! Isn't nice to be soooo close to the ports!! Make sure you take lots of pics and tell us all about it when you get home!!
