1A Guarantee Sold Out

My brother booked a 1A guarantee on the inspiration, it is sold out. Now, what if the price drops on our cruise, will he be able to get a shipboard credit or a good upgrade? I am a first time cruiser and have no idea.

Let's say you paid $500 for the 1A (hypothetically). If the 1A's are sold out you won't find a price drop.
BUT BUT BUT
the GREAT news is, if you see that any other category over that 1A...like a 4A or a 5A gets down to the price you paid for your 1A, then you just call up and ask to be upgraded.

I paid for a 1A and watched the prices drop, I called and upgraded 4 times as the prices went down.
I went from a 1A to a 4A to a 4E to a 5A and finally, I have a 7A, at the original price I put out for the 1A.
I called each time the prices went down.
You have to keep track, and make the calls.

Thank you very much for the information. I am so glad that you were able to get such a great deal. I guess the hard work paid off. I guess I'm not the only one that is always checking the prices. Believe me we were very happy with our price because we booked through costco and at the time they were the cheapest, but if we can get something free out of the deal we would be even happier.
