Best airport to NYC port

Cruising on the Crown next September. Trying to decide whether to drive or fly up from DC. According to the NY Port Authority, Newark Airport is the closest. NCL told me to use Laguardia. Which of the three airports would be most convenient (time and taxi) to get to the port?

LGA is the closest no matter what the Port Authority says.

EWR is 16 miles according to Mapquest and LGA is slightly more than 10.
