Hotels in Amsterdam

I am looking at two hotels in Amsterdam for pre-cruise stay. Has anyone stayed at Seven Bridges or Hotel New Amsterdam?

I though Hotel New Amsterdam looked like a good bargain and great location! Any ideas from anyone on tours and must sees?

I did some research on Trip advisor it rates hotels and attractions from individuals personal perspective. Hope this site helps!!!!

We booked New Amsterdam for post cruise. Reviews were good and seems to be within walking distance of many sites. Their website looks nice also. We had to book thru one of the larger travel sites to get a room for 1 night during a weekend. The direct hotel web site would not let you book for less than 2 nights.
