I would like to put out a plea to anyone sailing Centurys 5 day caribbean to try to get any menus from the cruise. My wife and I love to look them over before a cruise. Thanks.

I'm sorry I don't have the exact menus, but I can give you an idea of what we had on the 11-13-06 cruise and my opinions. They had a fabulous vegetable curry on the third night that I would highly recommend. You can get escargots or shrimp cocktail any night, along with caesar salad, chicken breast, or baked potato. Surf & Turf is available one night. There was another pasta I had that I cannot remember, but I do remember it was very good. Sorry I can't remember anything else, it's amazing how quickly we forget when it's back to the real world! ;)
Appetizers
- Vegetable Spring Roll - very good
- Escargots - excellent
- Shrimp Cocktail - tablemates said very good
- Fruit Plate - always a safe good choice
Soups
- Cream of Broccoli - very good
- Henry IV - good
- Cream Caroline - very good
Salads
- all were very good
-love the Tarragon Dressing & the Garlic Dressing
Entrees
- Vegetable Curry - amazing
- Turkey & Stuffing - very good
- Chicken Breast (Alternate any day) - dry and tasteless
- Pasta Al Carbonara (First Night) - excellent
Desserts
- Swan Puff - always a great option on the first night
- Paris Brest - very similar to the Swan Puff, it was good
- Baked Alaska - always excellent
- No Sugar Added Apple Crepes - one of my favorites, always amazing
I hope this helps a little!

I too do not have copies of the menus. However, I remember first night for entrees standard Celebrity 1st night..
A couple of the entrees that stand out are:
Cape Hake--fish...very nice
Prime Rib...Hard to go wrong
Chicken--it was baked and served with a sauce...quite good
For dessert the first night--
Creme Brulee is awesome. Also the rum raisen ice cream.
Night 2-
Had the escargot...can order it any night now like Michele said.
The soup was cream of asperigus
Entre--had Tournedos of Beef
Dessert-I can't even remember..I believe it was a chocolate mousse type of dessert.
Night 3--ate at Muranos..I know for soups they offered cream of mushroom
Night 4--best menu at sea...same as they offer on their longer cruises for final formal night.
Shrimp Coctail....Caesar Salad, Lobster tail--very nice and for dessert baked Alaska on parade.
Final night--they offered for entrees-Roast Turkey and Dressing, Beef--which was very much like pot roast.
Hope this helps a bit. Sorry I can not remember better either. Very, very good food though. Especially on night 4--lobster night. : )

Let me see what I can remember
Creme Brulee - fabulous as usual
Rum Raison ice cream - to die for
Apple honey ice cream, pretty good
Prime Rib
Lobster (the biggest tail I have ever had at sea)
Lamb Shank - so tender it was falling off the bone
Some type of duck in pasta
Sea scallops over pasta with saffron sauce, scallops good, pasta kind of tasteless.
Medallions of beef with a burgundy sauce
Three fish dinner, red snapper, sea bass, and something else in a lime based sauce.
Tomato soup - so good three of tablemates requested it every night
Cream of asparagus soup
Cream of broccoli
Everynight there was beef
Also I believe on the everynight menu there is also salmon.
I believe that is all I can remember right now.

The Swan Puff is filled with "whipped cream" and theParis Brest is filled with praline cream.
Last night also had the Veal chop which I can recommend.
There's also the spinach turnover with an emmental cheese sauce. I think I had that on the last night. I can't remember.
The intermezzo on formal night was rose wine with cinnamon. I prefer it without the cinnamon, which I thought was too strong.

Formal night was the second night which was Key WEst.
Lobster was served the 4th night.

Hi Roe,
Making me hungry just thinking back. I gained 5lbs in the 5 days. I am afraid next year on my 11 nighter that I will be in real trouble if the food is as good as on the Century. : )

Thanks same to you, I think I sent you an offical Happy Thanksgiving on the email. I think I gained about 8 lbs, but I have been living off of Special K and salad so I think its almost gone. I will be utilizing the gym quite a bit on the Connie TA, can;t gain too much weight. I was on a nine night Voyager repositioning cruise and we used the gym almost everyday, only gained two pounds, not to bad.

My husband will be thrilled to hear he can order escargot every night! Can someone tell me how it is prepared (i.e., is it in garlic/butter sauce, puff pastry, etc?).
Also, did I understand correctly that formal night is the second night out, but lobster is not served that night?

So formal night is after a busy day in Key West and lobster night (which cannot be missed) is after another busy day on Grand Cayman? Hmm Seems to me they would do these on our "at sea" days. But hey, that's just me.

Yeah, I wasn;t happy about the Key West thing because we really didn;t get to enjoy the sailaway I had to run out on the balcony every so often and snap a picture. As we were dressing for early dinner.
As far as Grand Cayman went, there were four other ships in so the town was sooo crowded we came back to the ship early. Our tours were first thing in the morning. Plus the 4th night was casual night if I am not mistaken. some of the ships only stay in Key West until 2, but we were there until 5.
