My cruise docs for Jan 6 arrived! Now..when

does my guar room show it's face? I thought for sure, since the cruise is now closed, it would pop right up there. Do they still wait awhile, even if the crusie is filled? Thanks.

We got our assignment on November 16th for a december 6th sailing. Following that logic, I'd say around mid december you should see a cabin number. Wewound up in a VB on the Upper Veranda Deck for our Noordam trip. We're quite pleased with that.

Some people have not gotten their cabin assignments until a couple of days before the cruise.

Just keep checking every couple of days.

Don't know if it means anything, but I'm sailing on the Zaandam January 5, 2007 and I got my cabin assignment yesterday. But I don't have my cruise docs yet...

There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to it that I can detect! Most times we've gotten our assignment about 2 weeks pre-sail, but this time we got it 17 days out. Another couple on the same same cruise just got theirs yesterday, 10 days out. But here's an encouraging fact: we got bumped from HH guar to FF (3 steps), they went from J to F (5 steps)! Twice when we got our assignment 2 weeks prior we went from VE to VA (4 steps). So it seems that waiting longer is better! :)
