I am also going on that cruise. not long to go now!!!
I went on a cruise for the first time in January of this year, and didnt do any shore tours, so it would be great to hear from others what they would recomend.

Dear Squibby,
Is that the Circle Island Tour of Villa? We did this in September. We got to see a bit of all the small villages and "fire walking" which turned out to be walking on hot stones that had been covered in fire then the ashes swept away. We had lunch and morning tea near the beach but it was too cold for anyone to swim. Morning tea was a cup of tea with powdered milk-I stuck to my water. Lunch was a packed lunch that was okay but most of us ended up sharing as half the lunches were in another bus that was running late!! It was a good overview of the island but probably not worth just over $100. We were gone all day but were given 30minutes shopping time. The Ameddee Island tour from Noumea was approximately $150 but much better value. Hope you enjoy your cruise

I think the one you are describing is infact the round island which is similar to the one we are booked on. We dont do the fire walking part but we should be going to see tribal warriors and dances etc and on a small canoe trip to north efate i think.
Ill remember to bring some water as well lol!

I actually found that earlier this year, i just wore the same black dress for both formal nights. and on the second formal night, alot of people didnt really bother to get dressed up, or if they did, they only wore the formal clothes to dinner and then changed out of them straight away
