Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase photos taken by the ship photographers once your cruise is finished or if they have a release form to get reprints made of already purchased photos?

If your looking to have duplicates made of an existing print that you have, any good photo lab should be able to help you out. You could call HAL Ship Services and ask about other prints but seeing how the pictures are all stored using digital equipment, there may be a very limited time they store those.

How could they possibly identify which ones are yours?

Navy Chief: Thanks for your suggestion. I did what you suggested and came up with the company that does HAL's photograpy and they told me how to get a Copyright Release form to get duplicate pictures.

jtl513: The pictures that I would like copies of are ones that my daughter purchased on the same cruise and that have the photo # on them and are copyrighted. It wasn't until after we had left the ship that I saw her photos and decided then that I would like copies of the same photos.

We took our formal portrait that we bought on the Zuiderdam into a photo lab & had it copied without any problems.

I had read on another post a while back about this site for the releases (https://www.image.com/html/guest-postcruiseCopyrightReleaseForm.cfm).

PopDeckPappy:

Thanks for your reply. That was the site I came up with also. It was just what I needed.

While that isn't actually legal if the photograph is copyrighted, that's what I'd do too.
