My aunt will be on next week sailing of the Magic. Wish I were going along! Can they carry on a case of water(to take on their excursions). I haven't been on this site for a long time and I'm a little rusty.
Thanks

Yes you can bring water.
Many people bring water with them or you can also buy a case of water once you board. They will deliver it to your room for you.
You can order it at guest services or from the people by the Promenade lounge who are trying to see wine and beer package deals to you. It does cost more, not sure how much, but it is easier than carrying it on board.
They also sell ice cold bottles of water on deck 1 right at the ships exit too, so you buy one bottla at a time, if you want. Then if you dont need it, you can use it for the next time and you wont have a lot lef tover.

I've seen several posts about bringing water aboard ship. Is the water on the ship that bad?

No. Some people just have a preference.

. . . Can they carry on a case of water(to take on their excursions). We were on the Magic in November. Met someone who brought a case of water onboard. DCL would not allow it unless it was in luggage. He had to borrow a duffel bag from a friend.

We bring a large duffel in our suitcase. I went to the Publix in Port Canaveral prior to boarding the ship, loaded it with Fiji water, sand toys, rafts etc. and took it on the ship.

I thought the tap water onboard was as good as any bottled I've drank.

We bring bottled water onboard with us so we have it for excursions. I believe a case of Evian on the ship is close to $30. They do sell soft sided coolers with six bottles of water in them and some ice for less money at each of the ports, too.

I bought a soft sided cooler from target, it looks like a duffel bag (it has jet's logo's all over it) We loaded it up with water and wine coolers and wine and had no problem bringing it on board. We just rolled it around with us till we could go to our room. The DH was ok with it since it looked like a piece of luggage.

I just got off the Wonder. Took a case of water on with me. I just left it sealed in the wrapping and put a Disney Wonder sticker on it at the Port. It appeared in the room. The case cost me $5.00 and Disney charges $30.00 per case. I didn't actually use but half of it because their was drinking water, along with everything else, all over the place.

Last year on the Magic, we used a soft sided rolling cooler to bring on bottled water. We treated it as a carry on and there was no problem going through security. We used the water for our excursions only. The water on board was fine. The room steward kept it full of ice for the entire trip and it came in handy for all the souvies that we brought home with us.
