Hello,
we finally got our room assignment (we had booked guarantee). It's a category J inside cabin on the Rotterdam deck (deck 7). I was wondering if anyone out there has pictures of this cabin, or of other inside cabins on the Noordam. I know that there are some inside cabins that are horizontally laid out, but ours is perpendicular to the hall, like outside cabins. The holland america website has one generic picture for all inside cabins that doesn't show much, and the tour is clearly for a non-Noordam ship cabin (bulky tv, instead of flat).
Thank you.

Sorry ... but all I have are photos of the J-category cabins on Main Deck, and those are enormous compared to those up on the Rotterdam deck. So, my photos wouldn't be very helpful.

Yeah, I took a look at the floor plans and the Js on the main deck seem about 2 times the size to our cabin, that's weird how the same "category" can have such different cabins in it. Our cabin definitely looks to be on the tiny side. Oh well, it'll be dark and the bed will be comfortable, and that's really all I require in a stateroom. Still, I'm curious as to what it looks like. Guess, I will definitely know in 10 days.

Yes, indeed. Hard to believe it's almost here! :)
I would appreciate getting a chance to see the inside of your cabin, and perhaps photograph it. Would you mind, at some point in the cruise??

I volunteered our cabin for the cabin crawl that we have planned for, I think, the 14th (after we leave San Juan), so feel free to take pictures of it at that point. From past experiences trying to photograph a tiny room, I imagine that it will be hard to get a full picture. I also reserve the right to try to substitute my in-laws cabin for my own (they'll be next door in an identical cabin), as my mother in law is obssessively neat and clean, so I bet there won't be any dirty clothing hastily stuffed into a closet in her cabin.

Been in Noor inside, will be in another one just 15 weeks from today. My advice: if anyone is going to take a picture, it will be from the hall. Not enough room for you and the camera at the same time.
