I posted this question in the Cozumel board as well, but it applies to both POrts of Call so I am hoping I migt get some suggestions for the Costa Maya boarders as well!!! :-)
We are big snorkelers and want to go while in Cozumel and Costa Maya. We'd also like to see some of the worth while Mayan Ruins as well. Now for a bunch of questions maybe some of you could answer for us...
Any recommendations on which ruins to go to? Better to see them in Cozumel or Costa Maya? Anyone find a combination excursion that would do the ruins and a snorkel stop?? (Either through Carnival directly or a reputable private tour company?) Any excursion suggestions for either of these ports? And lastly, for those who have been there or just know the answer, best place to snorkel in Cozumel and Costa Maya (as our Belize stop we'll be occupied cave tubing!!)
