I'm just wondering is Sail on a cruise somewhere? Haven't seen her post for a couple of weeks and hope that she is indeed aboard some wonderful HAL ship having a "blast". I miss her posts.

You are right, she has been absent.
I think she plans on the 1/6 Noordam sailing.

Does anyone know if Judy and DH on a cruise somewhere? I haven't seen any posts from her in a couple of weeks and am just hoping that she is enjoying a wonderful HAL cruise. I miss her posts - always look forward to her well thought out answers to others' posts or questions.

hammybee is right---sail is scheduled on the Noordam Saturday.
I had an e-mail from her today. I hope she doesn't mind my posting that she is flying to NY tomorrow. Early.

HMMM
At one point s7s was scheduled to be on "her" Maasdam for Christmas and New Year's. What happened?
Lisa -- did you personally hear from s7s that she was going to be on the Noordam??

Thanks again,

Valerie,
You have a double bubble going on this topic. Ruth C and I are honking over on the other thread. :)

Thanks Hammybee and Ruth. You might notice that I have two posts on this subject - for once not my fault:p . I posted numero uno and got WSOD so thought: okay, I'll try again. Now, two new threads on the same subject.
Thanks again for answering and I am so glad to hear that all is okay with Sail.

I am actually a little embarassed to say that I can probably recall where most frequent posters plan to cruise next and on what ship. I am indeed cruising vicariously through so many active posters. The 1/6 Noordam sailing hurts as I was ready to pull the trigger and found dirt cheap airfare to EWR and then it sold out in a NY minute.
I need a cruise.

Sail is leaving for NYC in the morning - she & her DH are on the Noordam sailing 1/6/07.
They are the "official" Noordam Mariner Ambassadors and they were able to be present for the inaugural festivities, were unable to cruise at that time. The opportunity for this cruise presented itself - and I know she is happy to be sailing on the gorgeous Noordam. :)
KK - Originally, Sail was booked on the Maasdam Christmas voyage (as we were) and her DH ended up up having a work-related conflict and they had to cancel.
I know she has been busy getting ready for the trip - hopefully, if she has a chance, will be able to check in. :)

Valerie... Thank you for your concern. That is so thoughtful of you and I appreciate it.
Thankfully, DH and I are fine and Laura is correct that many months ago, we had to change our plans from sailing Maasdam for Christmas/New Years. (.....and Lisa did hear it directly from me that it is our plan to sail Noordam on Saturday......) ;)
We were disappointed to cancel Maasdam's cruise but thrilled we were able to book Noordam. It was sooo hard leaving the beautiful Noordam after her Dedication and not being able to sail her Inaugural. We certainly plan to make up for it now!!!
I have been absent from the Board for a little bit and probably won't post again now until after we return from Noordam.
I'm sure there will be so many others posting 'live from aboard' that I'll save whatever comments we have until we return.
We can't wait to cross that gangway!!!

Thank you, Valerie, for missing me. :) I haven't been around that much lately.
Everyone posted exactly correctly about me. ;) I responded to you and KK in the other thread.
DH and I are fine and excited as though it is our very first cruise ever to be going to Noordam. I CAN'T WAIT to board that gorgeous ship again.
Thanks again for asking about me, Valerie. Very much appreciated.

Hey sweet Hammybee: I'm leaving January 15th for a 49-day cruise aboard the glorious ms Amsterdam (Fort Lauderdale to Hong Kong) and I have an outside cabin with twin beds, care to join me? Your share of the fare would certainly cut down on my cost for the cruise:D.
