Anyone taken a taxi to Peigon Island and know the cost??
Anyone gone there to snorkel?? Is there any shade on the beach??:cool:
I was thinking of doing this in St Lucia..Thanks fro any aadvice any of you can give me

Sorry it took me so long to reply - I hope you're still reading the board! For those who are interested, my wife and I went to Pigeon Island from Castries in 2004 and it was $20 or $22 USD round trip. The beach there has some shade - it's got a few trees that lean over the beach and some benches, so you can sits in the shade. I hate sitting in the sun, so the beach was perfect for me - my wife managed to get some sun. The beach is also essentially continuous with the beach in front of the Sandals Eyesore resort -- so there is a long stretch of uncovered beach if that's what you're looking for.

Thanks billybob123 for the info. That is what I will do the end of March and just enjoy a day away from most of the crowds and check out Fort Rodney. Thanks again!
