For those people that find that terrible tent that they put the straw market in oppressive. Here are some interesting pictures I took back in 1990.

Also in port that day was the gorgeous cruise ship "The Nordic Empress".
All the people in port were talking about - That beautiful big ship.

Nordic Empress, aka Empress of the Seas, is a sleek looking cruise ship. She's still busy with Bermuda and Caribbean runs. I checked out some recent reviews which were universally positive. The cabin photos are reminiscent of Norwegian Sea, which was our first cruise. We really enjoyed that cruise, but have since been spoiled by larger and more modern ships.

Thanks for the pictures Joe, It is too bad thay can't build something like they had before. I never saw Nassau till last year. It looks like it was quite festive.
