I can't tell from the camera angle, but it looks like it might be the Ryndam
just about to enter. The webcam shows two ships, I think the Ryndam is on the left.

It is the Ryndam - she is doing a 17 day cruise from Tampa to San Diego and is scheduled to go through the Panama Canal today.

She's now in the Gatun Locks.

The Prinsendam is also scheduled to make a full transit today. Haven't seen her yet, though.

Ah, there she is!

She was hiding behind in the first picture. It almost looked like a second ship, but because of the camera angle I couldn't tell for sure.

The ryndam is not on the pictures, The one in front is the Prinsendam and the other ship is one of the former rennaisance ships i think.

The webcam just zoomed in on the Ryndam name on the hull. I wasn't quick enough to get a picture before they zoomed out again.

Could somebody please post the link? I'm going to the Panama Canal on Zuiderdam in April - didn't know there was a webcam I could salivate over before I leave. THANKS!

Glad to see we have several eagle eyes out there today. It is always good to see a live shot of a "DAM" ship:D It sure looks nice and warm there today.

We were supposed to be on the deck of the Prinsendam going through there today... The webcam is nice, but it just isn't the same...

Grumpy,
I'm sure it's difficult to watch the Prinsendam, wishing your were there. Hope you are feeling better. I wish you the best and look forward to reading your sea journals in the future. Take care of youurself.

I never can get my "dam" ships right! Thanks to those who know the differences on the webcam. It makes for fun viewing for an hour or so.
David
P.S. I can't seem to get the names of the locks right either.
