Zuiderdam & the Saints(woohoo) who dat?

Has anyone found out if the NFL playoffs next weekend will be televised anywhere onboard???

On the Zuiderdam 6-13 cruise, the Saturday playoff games were shown in the Queen's lounge complete with snacks and beverage specials (from ESPN deportes). Sunday playoff games were not shown.

The Florida/Ohio State game was also shown in the Queen's lounge with food and beverages. It was a great atmosphere.

All games were also shown in staterooms.

We were on the Zuiderdam for New Year's. We were told that they purchase the feeds for certain games, but others they do not. The Rose Bowl was shown in the Sports Bar with snacks, drink specials, etc. The Sugar Bowl was not. So are you going to cancel your cruise? :-)

They made a bit of a celebration of the Rose Bowl in the Casino Bar of the Volendam. They served popcorn and were happy to sell you any drink you wanted. The football fans were not happy watching figure skating instead of the pregame hoopla.

Not canceling cruise but I am gonna bring the XM satelite radio just in case it's not televised anywhere onboard. Go Duece!!! (DOOOOOSSE)

Jazzlover, I read that HAL will televise the AFC games live on our cruise, but the NFC games we'll only have the ESPN highlights. Hope you'll share the radio feed.

EGADS!! XM does not carry the NFL only Sirius...of course I only have XM portable. So how bad do we want to hear the game???enough to go out and buy a Sirius portable????hmmm...we'll see.
