Carnival Cruise planned for March 5th. Wondered if there was a car
rental close to the pier. Thanks

LAX is the Los Angeles' airport. Lots of car rental agencies there.
San Pedro is where the World Cruise Center is located (the port for LA). There is only 1 car rental agency nearby (Enterprise), and they close at noon on Saturday and are not open on Sunday at all.
Long Beach is the port for Carnival (not San Pedro). There are a few agencies in downtown Long Beach which you can use.

Carnival docks in Long Beach.
We took a CCL cruise and then rented a car after from Avis in Long Beach. It was about a five minute cab ride from the port. The car was cheap for a one-way rental and ready when we got there. So I recc. that
