My husband and I as well as some of our best friends are sailing on the Oosterdam on September 18th. Does anyone know what the weather will be like and how we should pack? Also, what shore excursions have you done that were good and worth the $$$. We have sailed the Caribbean many times and have just about quit doing the shore excursions, but, with our one Alaskan cruise, we don't want to miss anything.
We are taking the Amtrak from Charlotte, NC to Seattle and then spending the night in Seattle prior to the cruise. After the cruise, we are taking the train back to Whitefish, Montana to stay five (5) days touring the Glacier National Park and surrounding areas. We will then take the train back home.
Anyone have any suggestions for the Montana area?
A little over two months until we leave and we are all very excited.
