Getting ready to do some comparative shopping pretty soon. Last year when I booked my Princess cruise I found that many on-line agencies did not do any better price-wise than what Princess quoted me direct. FYI, I am a past Princess cruiser.

How does HAL's pricing compare? Do you find you get a much better deal on line or through HAL direct? Does HAL give any REAL discounts to past cruisers (I have one HAL cruise under my belt).

I have cruised 19 times so I really DON'T need a TA just looking for a good deal.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Not much difference between online and TA. We received a $300 per person off (balcony) credit because of past passanger on our New Year's cruise. However, we just booked a suite for 12/22/07 cruise and the discount was $5160 for three people. Not sure if they discount according to cabin price. Enjoy

Check Navy Chief's PricingExperiment (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=464276) thread. :)
