The web says that Oosterdam does not have guest launder facilities. Does anyone know what the ship charges for laundry services?

Probably similar to the Noordam. I think it's approximately $70 for a 10 day cruise.

Is that unlimited? I'm afraid we're going to have do something for clean clothes ... I'll be gone for two weeks, and hubby for a week-and-a-half. Just can't pack enough to go without a laundry break.

The unlimited is really the way to go if you have the means. Sending things out on a per piece basis gets very expensive very fast on HAL. That was one thing we really noticed as more expensive on HAL over RCL/X. Other things were cheaper on HAL (drinks) but we really did notice the laundry prices were high.

Does HAL have a fixed cost for unlimited laundry?

Seems to vary with the length of the cruise. It was $45 for a week on Westerdam

Thanks, was that per cabin or per person?

We have sailed on the Zuiderdam and will be on the Noordam 3/21. On the Zuiderdam we were offered $12 PER Laundry bag which really held a lot. I've read that the same price applies on the Noordam, so perhaps the Oosterdam has the same program. Now, bear in mind this is for "laundry" only and not dry cleaning. We have used the dry cleaning a few times and it is not much more than our cleaners at home. I also read that there is a $40 for items that need pressing. I don't know if the number of items are what can fit in the laundry bag, or unlimited. Hope this helps.
