My father and I will be staying onboard the "hotel" Rotterdam in the port of Piraeus/Athens for the conclusion of the Olympics - check out on August 30.
We are also booked onboard the "cruise ship" Rotterdam for the August 30 sailing from Piraeus/Athens to Harwich/London.
What is the procedure for checking in if you are already onboard the ship?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences and/or thoughts.

Your last night aboard from your stay in Piraeus, a new ID will be delivered to you with instructions as to any immigration requirements. I do not think you will have any obligations in that regard .....I am assuming you are either a Canadian or U.S. citizen.
Along with the ID card, will be a letter detailing meal times and special instructions for the day including what time life boat drill will be held. You need only go to the office with your cruise documents during the morning sometime and they will process your documents there.
It is so wonderful to know you will be staying aboard when most everyone else is leaving.
Have a great time....sounds wonderful.

Since Holland America isn't fully in charge of the charter at the Olympics, not sure the typical procedures will be followed as if you were on a regular back-to-back. However, I'm sure they'll make sure you're taken care of in similarly expedited fashion.
Are you going to have the same cabin for the Olympics and your sailing?
