Just wondering if anyone has stayed in SC 7088. Is the deck larger since it looks like it is on an angle? Any info would be greatly appreciated. It will help with my decision to book this cabin.

We were in 7087 directly across the ship. The cabin is slightly larger and has extra room at the pointy corner. The veranda itself is zigzaggy and a little clumsy, as the dining table is right near the door. It's just as roomy as the adjacent S suites. I'd definitely book it again. It's also exposed to all the verandas forward of you, but if you behave, ther'll be nothin' to hide. Have fun!

Which is the other cabin you're considering? We've also sailed in 7087 (on the Oosterdam though). I think the actual cabin itself is slightly roomier because of the layout but you do lose out on verandah space because of the jagged area. The angled piece is slightly smaller than that of the SA next door (I counted the boards - don't ask) but larger than the straight piece. The straight piece is the same size as the VA verandahs on the other side. We loved the cabin size but I decided to try an aft this year with the huge verandahs I've heard everyone rave about.

Sale Away...I have booked 6088. It is a good location except that it is one deck down from the Neptune Lounge. We sailed on the Oosterdam two years ago and we had cabin 7050 which was just down the hall from the lounge. My husband loved being so close to the cookies and me to the coffee. Of course being one deck down would help us both wear off the cookies and other goodies since we usually take the stairs.

Regarding the aft cabin. I think you will enjoy it. We have only had one aft cabin and my only complaint was we had soot from the stacks. The verandah size is wonderful and as everyone mentions the sound of the wake is so peaceful.
