Does anyone have any favorite treatments from the onboard spa? Do any stand out as a good value, or anyone experienced one that wasn't all it was cracked up to be? Can these be booked prior to boarding, and if not, is it difficult to book onboard?

My fave is Ionithermie, a toxin-shedding, cellulite shrinking treatment that actually did take inches off my thighs and firmed up the skin.

They exfolite your thighs and/or abdominal area with cactus quills, apply lotions and potions, wrap you in an algae/seaweed mud, stick electrodes in you and let you buzz for 20 minutes or so (this "drives" the enzymes into the fat layers and contracts the muscles for toning). The result is a loss in inches, firmer skin and eventually the worst flatulance ever! You really need several treatments (I take at least two). It's pricey at about $120, but if you book on a port day it's cheaper.

The hot stone massage is my favourite. It's a nice treatment especially if you don't like deep muscle massages because of a low pain threshold. :)
