Am planning a trip to Alaska on HAL in 2008 with 2 kids and grandparents. I have a number of questions any help would be appreciated.
How does the lower promenade deck compare to the main deck?
Are there any cabin classes or specific rooms to avoid or you would recommend?
Side trips recommended? We are planning to do a double denali tour?
What are the costs for wine, etc?
When do the tours end? Is a 6:30 dinner seating too early? Would we be rushing to get from the days activities to dinner?
IS there a formal night on an Alaska cruise? Are tuxes required? What is attire for the other evenings?
Would you recommend any one of the ships over the other? What about a different cruise line?
Anything else I should know?
