For our upcoming trip I have bought a few HAL excursions from the website. Do I really have to fax my credit card info and sig to them ? Its amazing that I could buy over $10K in cruisetickets without a signature but the $39 for the glassblowing requires me to send information over an unsecured (perhaps) line ?

We have bought many excursions through HAL's website and never had a probelm. I just give them the credit card number. If you decide to change tours, your can also do it on line. In fact this past spring, HAL cancelled one of our tours, and with a few days, the credit card showed that we had been given credit. I also print out the confirmed tours just in case there is a problem when we get on the ship.

I ordered excursions on line and never had to fax anything to them. I just filled out the information to pay online. When I changed one, the refund on the cancelled one was promptly credited to the card. I never saw anything about faxing payment.

Thanks- there is a form that came up to fax to them requiring a signature for the charges. I will just disregard.

If you fax you do sign but if you do all the credit information on line you do not sign. Just be sure it is confirmed and print that out for reference.

You have to fax the signature if the person who is booking is not the primary person on the cruise booking. This happened when my daughter and her friend went on a cruise. My daughter was the primary booker and her friend was the secondary, but her friend was paying for one of the shore excursions and they wanted her signature because she was not the primary booker.

Same here. I ordered four excursions for my 8-28 cruise and only supplied a credit card number. They charged the card and emailed me confirmation of the tours I had selected. No mention of FAXing anything to them.
