Suite Deal for Sept/Oct Europe Cruises

Just received Promo #5069 which says HAL is offering free Business Class airfare from selected cities (sorry Jim, Vegas didn't make the list) if you book a SS or S on the Westerdam or Prinsendam's Sept/Oct cruises.

Well it certainly isn't our cruise as it has been booked out for weeks.

I just received HAL's E-Mail announcing this promotion. The Category SS fares are not discounted at all - that's how they can afford to include the airfare!

I just paid approx. $3,000 for an SS on the Westerdam for a 12-night cruise. A 12-night cruise in October for this promotion is $5,500. There's your airfare!

That's OK, Jerry. All SS cabins are gone for our September 20th Prinsendam sailing. The rate showing on HAL's website now is considerably more that our deal. There are S suites remaining, as is the penthouse. Therefore, it seems as if chances for an upgrade are pretty good. I love HAL's SS cabins ... but will gladly take a better one so they can sell the SS. :cool:

Our payment is due next week. We would only get an upgrade if quite a few of the suites cancelled. I am not counting on it, as I am very happy with our SS.
