We are finalizing the packing (as I type) and head out for the airport in about 4 hours - just wanted to say "Good-bye" and "Thank you" especially to Lisa in Vegas and Cruznon - look for us at the "Wave" we plan to have a great group onboard and we will get the banner and I AM bringing my HAL flag regardless that Sonny wants me to "under" pack, lol!!!

We will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary - we're both happy and proud we've made it this far, lol - and will meet up with both of my sisters in Puerto Vallarta for for a late lunch/cocktails and that is going to be a highlight of the trip for me -

Laura, I have Diane and Bill's cell number, I figured I would call Diane since we have comminucated more times thru email. I will call at about three so we can coordinate the hands in the air for the wave. It works really well this way so I can say OK EVERYON Hand in the air:D Then I refresh and viola!! I catch everyone waving;)

I hope Laura (ekerr) has safe travels as will all travelers cruising tomorrow. I was supposed to leave on a flight out of Omaha Thursday. Due to the blizzard, that didn't happen. Decided to drive to Kansas City for a flight this morning. I made it. Lisa, I look forward to talking to you tomorrow and waving to all CC's who are watching. Today the lovely Oosterdam and the lovely Ryndam are in-port together!
The next time we see the Ryndam docked there she will be in-port to pick me up for my next cruise!!!!! YIPPIE!

Laura, I missed this thread altogether. I'm really slacking lately!

At least I got a Bon Voyage wish off to you by email and lucky you today. I can't think of a better day than the day you set sail on a cruise.

I wish I could be here at 6:00 our time for the WAVE, but unless I really insist differently we'll have left for dinner by then. But I'll be thinking of you and I hope someone takes a picture of "the moment"!

Have a GREAT cruise everyone.... especially Diane & Joan (who I've met on a previous cruise). We were trying to get together here in San Diego for lunch yesterday, but some darn blizzard made Diane's travels a living hell.

I just noticed on my AOL Welcome Screen that there's a lunar eclipse started at 3:18 pm Eastern time (it's not 4:35).

How fantastic for a lunar eclipse to take place during THE WAVE!!!!! The total eclipse is scheduled for 5:44 pm Eastern time.

So in honor of Sonny & Laura's anniversary, the moon will pass behind the earth's shadow for the first time in 8 years!!!
