Does the Disney Magic still have an Internet package? What is the cost and is it accessible with a WIFI laptop? If not, what is the cost and can a WIFI laptop be used in the rooms? My DH just found out he needs to be on for about 15 minutes a day. Thanks.

Nope. Disney have changed to an all per min system. However the now offer selected free sites to browse (disney.com comercial stuff), as well as the chance to print via the wireless network.

oh, the cost is around 75c per min. WiFi is not avalible in rooms, but it is in most public spaces.

Wifi was available in alot of places. The price was 75 per minute and the least expensive package was 55 dollars for 100 minutes. That worked out well for me. There are computers in the quiet cove cafe and I saw alot of people using wifi there. Hope this helps!

How recently did you sail? When I got off around 2 and a half weeks ago, they had just changed the system, and im pretty sure they are only doing it per min now. I could be wrong tho!

.75 x60x15days OUCH!!! hubby has to have computer access and we are going on the repo cruise may 2008. I hope they have internet packages for cruises like this.

I'm on the May 08 Magic too and just did the search to find out about internet access, maybe there will be more choices a year from now, one can dream! Haven't noticed you on the roll call, it's a long time off but I get excited reading about it.

Disney Cruise Line is introducing wireless internet ship-wide on the Disney Magic as well as stateroom access for cell phones on May 12. (The Disney Wonder will have these enhancements later this summer.)
