You are an inside room on the starboard side of the Empress Deck...

right side -- starboard-
left side -- Port side (4 letters each word)

You can view deck plans by going to www.carnival.com (http://www.carnival.com) click on fun ships then on the ship you are sailing.. next page click on deck plans.

you are on the empress deck. Use the deck plans to learn your ay around the shipbefore you cruise

That's only true if you are facing toward the front of the ship. If your facing the aft, the opposite is true:)

Iv noticed on the Conquest that the port side is more popular. I had to argue to get on the port side, they tried to put me on the starboard side. I want to see out the port side this time :)

It really wont make a difference what side you are on. The CApt decides what way to "park" at each place. Some places port side will face the port-- while the next place the starboard side will face the port.

Dont book your cabin based on being a port side or starboard side cabin

We were on this same cabin on The Triumph several years ago. Great location of the Starboard Side of the Ship.

The Laundry room was just several doors down, if that sort of thing interests you!

On all Carnival ships odd numbered cabins are on the starboard side and even numbered cabins are on the port side.

The easy way to remember is even/port/left all have four letters.
