First cruise on Regatta April 25 2005 Barcelona to Venice.
Can anyone tell me how one dresses for dinner? Is there no need for suit and tie for men? Nice dress or pants outfit for women?

We just returned from a Baltic cruise on Regatta. Dress at dinner is what Oceania calls country club casual. My husband brought a jacket but never wore it. Some men wore jackets, usually with no tie. I didn't see anyone wear a suit. With the exception of jeans or shorts, plan to wear whatever you'd feel comfortable wearing out to dinner at home. People didn't get very dressed up. After touring all day, I was happy wearing my Chico's pant suits that were comfortable and didn't wrinkle. That's the beauty of sailing on Oceania--no formal nights. Enjoy your cruise.
