Dancing on the Noordam?

I saw from Holland America's website that the ship has a "disco". Is this like your typical club? What kind of music is played? Is there a dress code? Thanks!

The Noordam's disco is Northern Lights. The type of music is
LOUD!
and it's jumpy. Wayyyy outside my era. The dress code is that of the evening for the ship. When I was in there I saw folks dressed pretty funky, but I didn't hang around long enough to pay a lot of attention.

DJ Jazzy does a great job in the Disco, playing up-to-date music and making it a fun atmosphere to hang out till the wee hours.

There are also Themes - like Disco, 70s, Country - they don't last all night and then it's requests. Jazzy will make sure everyone has fun.

Also music trivia contests where you can win stuff....

Yes...He is loads of fun!! I got to dance with him on the Noordam!!:D I don't think there's a dress code. It's really too dark in there to notice anyhow!!:p

There is also dancing at the Ocean Bar...ballroom dancing, actually. Not sure about the Crow's Nest but have seen dancing there as well on other cruises. Enjoy yourself!!

Oh the dancing sounds nice. My DH has promised me at least one dance every night while on Noordam.

The Northern Lights Dsico is great. Jazzy does a great job and just see what Derek and Edwin can serve up in a drink.
