Antigua in the morning?

I have booked an afternoon kayak excursion that starts at 12:30. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do in the morning? I have a 3 yr old and 4 yr old who won't be coming on the afternoon excursion, but I would love for them to still get to experience Anitgua. Are any of the great beaches close to the pier?

Try Runnerway or Dickenson bay both are reasonably close to pier 10 min most.
