What do you do with your HAL ticker folders after you have cruised? Do you have a use for them?
We use one of them to store dollar bills for any tipping we may do - room service, etc. Another is used to put in copies of docs and passports to leave with our daughter when we cruise - everything is in one place that way.
Any other suggestions or ideas?

They are wonderful for storing important documents you need to preserve in as good condition as possible. Deeds, insurance policies, birth certificates, etc. Being in the folio keeps them from getting dog-eared and such when you put other papers in the file.

I have one in my car glove compartment. I know I have a folder that comes with the car. But- You can use it to keep handy your insurence - names and addresses and stuff like that.

I don't have a HAL one yet but others I have gotten were used to hold future info for next cruise (borchures, questions and answers for this board ect), one I kept left over US dollors in for my next trip including coins. I have also given them to friends to use for their things. :)

:)
If we kept everyone we have gotten over the years, we would have no place to store them.
I did keep one of the old ones that had 3 pockets and folded over a couple of times.

I have given away lots of them over the years to our kids and grandkids for their travel docs. Also like to keep other travel printouts in them. We leave the country several times a year for land vacations and always have a collection of foreign currency, Euros, Sterling, Pesos and Canadian $$, so the folders are a good place to store them...jean

We use a couple of them when we travel to carry documents, flight information, hotel reservations, driving instructions and the like. Where the rest of them are is anyone's guess. most likely tossed Did find that on a HAL cruise that we booked through ***********.com the documents arrived minus the HAL folder and instead were packaged in a small plastic sleeve type holder. The wife was disappointed but I could never figure out why.

I've saved all of my special navy blue HAL doc. holders...they're just too nice to throw out! I don't do anything special with them, and most of them still have left-over luggage tags and documents still in them.

I keep my passport in mine. Makes it easy to find the next time I travel.

The folder is used for travel documents needed for the cruise, then upon return, I keep all details pertaining to that voyage in the folder and place a label on the outside showing date & ship sailed.

I wouldn't even think of this question, but I loved all the great ideas. Thanks, everyone!

I use my old HAL folders for documents of other cruises. I sail NCL a lot and they give you a cheap see-thru thing. The NCL check in attendents always give me a dirty look when I pull my tickets for there ships out of the Blue folders.
