We have read the last six reviews on the main CC site on Statendam down under cruises.http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/getreviews.cfm?action=ship&ShipID=269
All six of them had horror stories galore. We are booked on Statendam in October 2007 from Auckland to Sydney. We are very worried now. What is the condition of the Statendam? Falling apart (especially the plumbing)?
We are also worried because we are currently booked for late seating and waitlisted for early seating. One of the people who wrote a review said they were waitlisted almost a year before as we are and wound up at late seating. Between our regular schedules (we are early morning people) and a medical condition my wife has (she isn't supposed to eat and then go to bed immediately).
So can anyone reassure us?
