What type of things will we find on the room service menu? Will it be the same as is being served in the main dining room, the Lido or something else? I would like at least one romantic evening with just my husband eating on our verandah but I hate to miss all the good stuff that is served in the main dining room too.

The Room Service menu is different from the dining room menu, but! that doesn't have to be a problem for you.
You can order anything on the dining room menu to be delivered to your cabin if you place your order during the first half-hour the dining room is open; it can be delivered at a time of your choosing.
Bon appetit!

And remember that you can always order from the dinner menu. Just remember to order within the first half hour from when the dinning room opens. You can select whatever time you want to eat.
PS - we have ordered the cheese and crackers from time to time and this was the worst that we have ever had. We got 4 tiny pieces of cheese and 3 packages of crackers. For cheeses we got the Pepper-jack, American, Brie, and Gruyere and each one was just a bite!! There wasn't any Edam or Gouda.

Thanks so much for the menu. I guess we'll be skipping the cheese and crackers.

thanks to KK, you know exactly what is offered on the room service menu .. believe me, you won't go hungry:)
dinner can really be a wonderful experience on your balcony; don't be shy about asking the dining room manager or the culinary operations manager for help or suggestions; you may also want to speak with the cellar master about choosing a special wine
have a great cruise:D

You can request coffee, tea, milk from room serive,
But if you want a soda -- you need to call a bar for that as it is not free. Breakfast -- no bar service. If your son wants a soda for breakfast -- he would be wise to use one from the refrigerator (which will be replaced -- and you will be billed for it) or buy one from a bar the evening before.

Stupid question but is the room service free ??
It means you may have your lunch on your private balcony instead of Lido ?
We are 4 and will be staying in two superior verandah suites, is it possible to order four lunches in one verandah and be the four of us on the balcony ?

Room Service is free -- included in the cost of your cruise -- some people tip the person who delivers that food -- that choice is up to you.
What ship are you on? Some of the balconies/verandahs are small and may not be able to hold all 4 of you with your meals.

You can order lunch for the four of you be delivered to whichever cabin you wish.
When ordering Room Service, be sure to ask for everything you wish. If you order burgers, be sure to ask for ketchup. If you order coffee, mention if you want milk or cream with it.
