We're going on a 7 day disney cruise in October and we're taking our 4 & 7 year old boys. I know the oceaneer club is for ages 3-7 but then from what I've read it seems to be broken into 2 groups, 3-4 & 5-7. My concern is that my 4 year old will want to be with his older brother all the time. Will he be able to or will they split them up completely?

We were on the Magic in November. My kids were 6 and 8 and in different groups. They did let the 8 year old move down into the younger group when they had an activity my son wanted his sister there for (cookie making) however they will not let younger ones move up into the older group. There are several times were they combined both groups for certain activities. However I will tell you that I was very concerned this would cause a huge problem for my kids but.......we went to the open house on the first day and both had made made friends before we left and we had no problem seperating them the rest of the cruise. There is so much going on I think your kids will be to busy to realize the other one is not with them!!!! :)

A lot of the time, the 3-4s and 5-7s are together, but not always. If you search around, you can find old Navigators from previous cruisers and you can see the activities for the day by age group. That will give you an idea of how often they are together. Here are a couple sites that have them.
